Infant Massage is another way to relax and connect with your baby. It often gives relief from gas or colic, and also stimulates respiratory, circulatory and gastrointestinal systems, which enhances growth and development. Join a class of other parents and babies from your area and learn the strokes as demonstrated by the instructor. Practice the strokes on your baby, and increase your ability to read your baby’s signals to determine when to provide more or less stimulation for massage, play and other daily activities of your baby. Instruction is provided by a Certified Infant Massage Instructor in classes and through individual lessons. Anne Endrizzi, OTR/L, CIMI, specializes in assisting parents of children with special needs to enhance the relationship with their child through infant or pediatric massage. |
